Letter of support to the Fair Hotels Croatia Initiative

The Croatian National Tourist Board would hereby like to express its full support to this praiseworthy initiative of the hotel workers and the Trade Union of Tourism and Services of Croatia, which promotes those hotels in our country in which collective agreements are signed, in which workers rights are respected and high quality and permanent social dialogue fostered between employers and trade unions.

Satisfied, respected and motivated worker is a foundation of success in any sphere of work and business, and especially in tourism sector, i.e. hotel industry which relies on daily intensive interaction between a number of individuals and subjects.

Hence we welcome your initiative to encourage hoteliers to raise awareness of corporate social responsibility, based on fair and decent working conditions. We believe that the Fair Hotels Croatia Initiative will meet with a great response among hoteliers as well as users, and that the list of fair hotels will grow on a daily basis.
